About

Clement Nataf

I'm a French photographer, born and raised in Paris — the capital of fashion — where I picked up a camera for the first time at twenty. That began a career spent learning the craft properly: starting out on film, then following the industry into digital, learning to trust my eye before I ever trusted a light meter.

When cameras first started shooting motion, I was one of the first to bring video into my work, treating a moving frame with the same patience as a still one. From there I traveled — spending years working across Asia — before eventually settling in Sydney, where I'm based today. Photography and film are still the two things I love most; my camera is just the excuse to listen closer.
